Watermelon! says "Summer!" like nothing else. Thousands enjoy this four-day outdoor festival honoring the nutritious, wonderful watermelon. The Watermelon Thump hosts a carnival with kiddie rides, Beer Garden, Plenty of Food, Children's Entertainment including magicians, mime, fire eaters and the like, Dances, Arts & Crafts, Champion Melon Judging and Auction, World Champion Seed Spitting Contest, Parade, Melon Eating Contest, and more.
