The Watermelon Thump Parade is a joyful kickoff to Saturday morning and one of the most cherished moments of the entire weekend. Families line the streets with lawn chairs and cool drinks as colorful floats, spirited marching groups, local organizations, and hometown favorites make their way through town.

Beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday morning, the parade follows a classic Luling route along Walnut Avenue, Pierce Street, Magnolia Street, and Houston Street. It’s a celebration of community pride, smiling faces, waving hands, and the simple magic of neighbors coming together to honor tradition.
