I am a proud member of the Luling 4-H Club, as well as the Athletic Training, Law Enforcement, and Nursing programs, where I continue to develop leadership skills, teamwork, and passion for serving my community. 

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES YOU ARE INVOLVED IN: 

I am a member of the varsity soccer team, serve as a costume manager for our theater department, and volunteer each Tuesday assisting with CRE classes at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where I enjoy helping guide and support the 

youth in their discipleship. 

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER COMPLETING HIGH SCHOOL? 

After completing high school, I plan to attend Texas State Technical College to pursue a degree in Biomedical Technology. Following my education, I hope to enlist in the United States Air Force and serve in the aerospace medical service field. 

Through this path, I aim to combine my passion for healthcare and service while making a meaningful difference by supporting others. 

WHY IS THE WATERMELON THUMP SUCH AN INTEGRAL PART OF LULING’S HERITAGE: 

The Watermelon Thump is an important part of Luling’s heritage because it celebrates the town’s history as a major watermelon growing community. The festival honors the hard work of local farmers, brings residents together through 

parades and contests, and keeps long standing traditions alive. I believe the Watermelon Thump recognizes the agriculture that helped build our town and remains as a proud symbol of where our community came from. 

WHY DO YOU WANT TO RUN FOR WATERMELON THUMP QUEEN: 

Running for Watermelon Thump Queen would allow me to embrace new experiences and develop lifelong skills while serving as a positive role model for my community. I would have the honor of promoting the pride, values, and unity that 

bring our town together. It would mean so much to give back to the community that has shaped me into the person I am today and to celebrate the tradition that makes summer feel a little sweeter. 

WHAT QUALITIES DO YOU POSSES THAT ARE INHERENT IN LEADERSHIP POSITION
