CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS YOU ARE A MEMBER OF: 

I was born into and remain an active member of St. John’s Catholic Church, where my faith and community involvement play an important role in my life. I also had the honor of serving as Fall Festival Queen, an experience that allowed me to represent and give back to my church community. 

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES YOU ARE INVOLVED IN: 

I am currently involved in culinary arts, theatre, art, and tennis. In previous years, I participated in soccer, served as a volleyball manager, competed in track, and was an active member of FFA. These activities have allowed me to develop teamwork, creativity, leadership, and time-management skills. 

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER COMPLETING HIGH SCHOOL? 

After graduating from high school, I plan to attend college to pursue a career as an ultrasound technician. I am passionate about entering the medical field and look forward to building a career that allows me to help and care for others. 

WHY IS THE WATERMELON THUMP SUCH AN INTEGRAL PART OF LULING’S HERITAGE: 

The Luling Watermelon Thump is a cherished tradition that has been celebrated for approximately 70 years. Each summer, it brings together families and friends to reconnect, strengthen bonds, and celebrate the unique spirit of our community. This annual event unites the town and highlights the pride and heritage of Luling. 

WHY DO YOU WANT TO RUN FOR WATERMELON THUMP QUEEN: 

I would like to run for Watermelon Thump Queen to gain valuable experience and proudly represent my hometown. Growing up, I admired the candidates and always dreamed of one day being part of this tradition. Serving as Queen would be a meaningful opportunity to give back to the community that has haped me. 

WHAT QUALITIES DO YOU POSSES THAT ARE INHERENT IN LEADERSHIP POSITION 

SUCH AS WATERMELON THUMP QUEEN? 

I am responsible, hardworking, and dependable. I strive to lead by example through active involvement in school and community activities. I treat others with kindness and respect, and I am committed to representing my peers and my ommunity with integrity and positivity.
