What are your plans after completing High School?
My plans after high school is to take a CNA course in the summer. Then, go to college to pursue a career in Pediatric Nursing.
Why is the Watermelon Thump such an integral part of Luling's Heritage?
I say it's an integral part of Luling's heritage because it has been around for 70+ years. It is also a way to bring the community together and honor local growers.
Why do you want to run for Watermelon Thump Queen?
I want to run because I enjoyed watching others represent a town I was raised in and I'd love to do the same. It's something I've always wanted to do since I was a little girl. (Plus, I'm a thump baby.)
What qualities do you possess that are inherent in a leadership position such as Watermelon Thump Queen?
I am independent. I love helping and getting to know others. I'm passionate about things I love and I'm a go-getter, and I love to be a leader and guide/help people.
